Reader Project: 5-Foot Collapsible Event Bar That Breaks Down With No Tools

Photo of author

Jason H., who works as The Wobbly Carpenter in Phoenix, Arizona, sent in a 5-foot portable event bar built to travel. The whole thing comes apart without picking up a single tool — lift-away hinges throughout mean the panels separate by hand and the bar sets up again in minutes.

The construction is MDF panels over an internal 2×4 frame, with a raised panel detail on the front face and a white painted finish. In the studio photo it’s styled with shakers and glassware on the service top.
