Matt Hagens started woodworking when he was a kid but recently got back into it as an adult. Like many people, he was looking for a new hobby to help him cope with the COVID-19 pandemic and found his passion for woodworking.
He began by watching hours and hours of YouTube videos and even bought some courses to help him become more educated.
Matt has built many projects for his home, friends, and clients. Most of his projects revolve around furniture, but he has performed large home renovations, such as finishing his basement and adding a wet bar. He is proficient in woodworking and carpentry but also has considerable experience in electrical work (new and old construction).
Matt is a member of Steve Ramsey’s The Weekend Woodworker and also a member of Eddie Case’s Basement Finishing University. Matt graduated from Millersville University in 1998. He also founded Hagens Marketing which has helped hundreds of clients improve their business websites and online marketing efforts.
